Terms of Use

Last updated August 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of Anesthesia Rotation Ready. By using the course you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of a school, department, or program, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

What this course is, and is not

This course is for general educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, clinical credentialing, or a substitute for supervision, local policies, or faculty instruction. Learners must follow their institution's policies and the direction of their supervising clinicians.

Specifically, and without limiting that statement:

  • The content is orientation, not training. It is beginner-level and conceptual by design. It contains no drug doses and no instruction for performing any clinical procedure.
  • Nothing here creates a physician-patient relationship, and nothing here is advice about the care of any individual patient.
  • Completing the course does not certify clinical competence, confer privileges, satisfy any credentialing requirement, or qualify you to perform any task unsupervised. A completion certificate attests to one thing: that the modules and knowledge checks were completed.
  • The course is not accredited continuing medical education and no CME credit is offered or implied.
  • Clinical practice varies between institutions. Where anything in this course differs from your institution’s policy or your supervising clinician’s direction, follow your institution and your supervisor - not this course.

Your use of the content

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view the lectures and download the handouts for your own educational use, and - where a program has sponsored the course - for that program to assign it to its enrolled learners.

You may not:

  • copy, download, re-host, mirror, screen-record, or redistribute the lectures, or post them to any other platform;
  • resell, sublicense, or provide access to anyone outside the program that sponsored the course;
  • use the content to build, train, or fine-tune a machine-learning model, or scrape it by automated means;
  • remove or obscure the disclaimers, attribution, or certificate codes;
  • present the content as your own or as your institution’s own work.

All content, including the lectures, handouts, illustrations, narration, and the name Anesthesia Rotation Ready, remains our property. Nothing here transfers ownership.

Learner data

What we collect and who sees it is set out in our Privacy Policy. If a program sponsors the course for its learners, that program receives completion and assessment records for its cohort. Sponsoring programs are responsible for telling their learners that the course is assigned and that their completion will be reported, and for handling that data in line with their own obligations, including any obligations regarding student education records.

Availability

We aim to keep the course available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add to, or withdraw content, including to correct clinical accuracy, at any time. Where a program has an active pilot or agreement, we will not remove material features during its term without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

The course is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the content is complete, current, or error-free. Medicine changes; content correct at the time of recording may not remain so.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the course - whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, and even if we were advised such damages were possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the course is limited to the greater of the amount you or your program paid us for the course in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, in which case those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Clinical decisions are yours and your supervisors’

You are responsible for your own conduct in a clinical environment. We are not responsible for any decision, action, or omission by you, your institution, or your supervising clinicians, and we are not liable for any outcome to any patient. Care is directed by licensed clinicians under institutional policy, not by an orientation course.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and costs arising out of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the content, including redistribution beyond the license granted above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction. Where a sponsoring institution’s own agreement requires otherwise, that agreement controls for that institution.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above will change and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
